Baoma
Hello Everyone,
This is April Pan. 大家好,我是宝妈。I was born and grew up in the northern part of mainland China. Mandarin is my native language, and I currently live in the U.S.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, and I have been teaching non-Chinese speakers Mandarin for about four years. I have taught kids, teens and adults at all levels. I listen to the students’ needs and personalize the lessons for them. I offer Mandarin skills with listening, talking, reading, writing and Pinyin. Students can choose to learn one or more of these skills.
I am very patient and energetic. Yes, patience and energy are not in conflict. In my class, you will have a lot of fun and feel that learning Chinese is not that hard. Soon you will be talking in Chinese.
My son, Baobao, and I are the authors of “Learn Mandarin with Chinese Mom and Son.” From this material, students will follow us and go deep into a typical Chinese family’s daily lives. Students will learn about daily conversations, workplace dialogues, school activities and Chinese culture. Students will also learn about Chinese food, history, folklore, games and festivals. We will go on vacation to teach you about travelling in China too.
Again, this is Baoma. Please join me, and let’s start the fun journey of learning Mandarin.
Thanks,
Baoma

Ye Chengying
你好。My name is Ye, Chengying, I look forward to meeting you! I grew up in China. Thus, I’m a native Chinese speaker! In 2013 I earned my bachelor’s degree in education from Hainan Teachers College. After graduating I moved to Thailand where I taught Chinese in a public high-school for 3 years. In 2016 I began teaching at Brookside middle school here in Sarasota! I myself am a student of multiple languages. Teaching is my biggest passion, and I love seeing my students progress. I know the trials of learning a new language because I’ve gone through the process myself. With that being said, I can relate to my students struggles when learning a new language and help them grow. I not only give my students fish, but I teach them how to fish for themselves. I teach all levels of Chinese. I find no greater joy when I see my students reading, writing, and communicating in Chinese. I am so excited to work with BaoAce education. I look forward to seeing you there!

Zhen Ju
Hello, my name is Zhen. I was born and raised in Mainland China; thus, Mandarin is my native language. I got my master’s degree from University of Pittsburgh, and now live in the U.S.
I majored in English Translation and Interpretation in Southwest University in Chongqing, China, and my master’s degree is in the field of Foreign Language Education. I have experience in teaching Chinese to Americans from the very beginning level, and my students’ ages range from 6 to adults. I treat every student friendly and equally, so students like to actively communicate and share their lives with me.
I teach pinyin, Chinese simplified characters, vocabulary and grammatical structures, daily conversation and Chinese traditional activities and cultures.
Chinese is a fast-growing world language and becomes increasingly significant. I am excited to work with BaoAce, and step on an interesting and adventurous Chinese learning journey with you!

Ying Guo
Nihao, my name is Guo, Ying. You can call me Grace. I was born and raised in Tiianjin, China, which is a city very close to Beijing. So far, I have been living in Bradenton, Florida for 5 years. I am glad to be called a Floridian now.
I am a Senior Chinese language teacher certified by the International Chinese Language Teachers Association.
My college major is English Literature, and I have achieved a master’s Degree in International Business from Leeds Becket University in England. I hold a teacher’s license of higher education to teach English in China, and also have a Second Class Upper Level Certificate (普通话水平测试等级证书,二级甲等) in the Mandarin Proficiency Test (普通话水平测试) received in 2005.
I taught Chinese to students overseas at the International Communication Institute of Tianjin Polytechnic University in China for 6 years.
Since I joined my husband in the U.S., I have been teaching Chinese for 5 years. I deal with Chinese language learners at all levels. I am now tutoring non-Chinese speakers for YCT (Youth Chinese Test), and teaching young kids and beginners as well. I also have experience teaching 7th and 8th graders at a middle school for one year.
I love teaching the Mandarin language. I have a passion to bring this beautiful language to children, teenagers and even adults. I believe learning a foreign language offers various opportunities for students to understand the diversity and culture of different countries and regions.
I am very proud to become a teacher with BaoAce; and I expect to have a wonderful journey in Chinese learning with you. See you there.
