“Bao Spanish” language interactive classroom: Raz Kids

Bao Spanish  teachers are Raz Kids registered teachers.  Compared to the traditional Spanish class which focuses on grammar, spelling, reading and writing, our Spanish class emphasizes more about listening and speaking, which cultivates and enforces students' oral skills in interaction and communication. We focus on the process of discussing the content of the text with the students and practice speaking in the background of the content learned in the text.

Raz Kids (www.raz-kids.com) is a paid reading site in the United States (associated fees are covered by us). It is the “Bao Spanish” designated material for beginners and intermediate students.  Raz Kids has more than 400 books, divided into 29 levels.  Each book includes an audible reading and is followed by an exercise to gauge comprehension. Also included are enrichment games to encourage students to learn.

The following are examples of difficulty at the various levels:

Cultural Activities:

Students will have various opportunities to learn Spanish in an interactive and fun filled classroom! We have different authentic Spanish board games, TV series, cultural games as well as many thematic activities, which aims to immerse students in both the language and the Spanish culture. While playing the games with the teacher and the peers, students will listen and speak Spanish spontaneously, as well as get gradually access to learn about the Spanish culture.
